A.S.K.: After School Kids
Tuesdays @ 4:30 pm (Ages 5-12)
This is a hands-on program for big kids! Each week we will rotate through a different activity, including STEM projects, arts, crafts, and other kinds of fun.
Baby & Me
Mondays @ 10:30 am (Ages 0-18 months)
This is a lapsit storytime designed with little ones in mind. Each month we’ll have a new book and rhymes to enjoy together while you spend one-on-one time with your baby. Stay for a play time afterwards.
Older siblings are welcome; they should bring a baby doll or stuffed animal for their “baby!”
Preschool Pals
Thursdays @ 10:30 am (Ages 4-6)
Preschool Pals is an educational storytime and activity for children ages 4-6 only. Each week we’ll work on a letter of the alphabet, practice writing skills, and read books together.
Caregivers may drop off their child for this program, as long as they stay in the library.
Storytime
Tuesdays & Fridays @ 10:30 am (all ages welcome)
Our most popular library program! We’ll read stories, sing songs, play with puppets, make crafts, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
I live near Lebanon but don't have a 46052 zip code. Can my child still sign up?
Unfortunately, the Imagination Library requires local funding. The current funding for this program, provided by the Lebanon Public Library and Friends of the Lebanon Library, only covers the city of Lebanon. We are hoping to expand this program to a larger area in the future!
My child is 5 years or older. Can they still sign up?
This program is an early literacy initiative from the Dollywood Foundation, and only provides books for children from birth until their 5th birthday. When a child turns 5 they receive one final book and graduate from the program.
What books will my child receive?
Every child receives a copy of “The Little Engine That Could” as their first book. After that, children receive a different book each month depending on their age. These books are selected by experts at the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and will grow with your child as they get older.

When will my child get their first book?
Your child’s first book will arrive 6-8 weeks after they are registered for the program.
Can I sign up more than one child in my household?
Yes! All children ages birth – 4 years old in the 46052 zip code can sign up for this program. Your children will receive different books depending on their birth year, and their books may arrive on different days of the month.
My family is moving, how do I change my address?
If you signed up online, you can update your information by signing into your account here. Or, you can contact the Lebanon Public Library’s Childrens Department at (765) 483-2570 or email debbie@leblib.org. We can help you see if the program will be available in your new area, and help you change your address.
