Summer Reading 2025
It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year… SUMMER READING!! This summer’s theme, “Color Our World,” encourages readers to dive into their creative side while they explore all the different genres of art (and books!) We are excited for all the fun events, crafts, and activities planned this year. In addition, we challenge ALL children to read 25 books or log 250 minutes of reading. Achieve this goal and you’ll earn free books, weekly prizes, and a chance to win a grand prize!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Imagination Library Frequently Asked Questions
I live near Lebanon but don't have a 46052 zip code. Can my child still sign up?
Unfortunately, the Imagination Library requires local funding. The current funding for this program, provided by the Lebanon Public Library and Friends of the Lebanon Library, only covers the city of Lebanon. We are hoping to expand this program to a larger area in the future!
My child is 5 years or older. Can they still sign up?
This program is an early literacy initiative from the Dollywood Foundation, and only provides books for children from birth until their 5th birthday. When a child turns 5 they receive one final book and graduate from the program.
What books will my child receive?
Every child receives a copy of “The Little Engine That Could” as their first book. After that, children receive a different book each month depending on their age. These books are selected by experts at the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and will grow with your child as they get older.

When will my child get their first book?
Your child’s first book will arrive 6-8 weeks after they are registered for the program.
Can I sign up more than one child in my household?
Yes! All children ages birth – 4 years old in the 46052 zip code can sign up for this program. Your children will receive different books depending on their birth year, and their books may arrive on different days of the month.
My family is moving, how do I change my address?
If you signed up online, you can update your information by signing into your account here. Or, you can contact the Lebanon Public Library’s Childrens Department at (765) 483-2570 or email debbie@leblib.org. We can help you see if the program will be available in your new area, and help you change your address.
