QPR: Suicide Prevention Training

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a 2-hour suicide prevention training for participants to be able to recognize the warning signs of suicide and question, persuade, and refer people at risk for suicide for help. This course may be helpful to anyone who works with the general public, teens and youth, or is a parent or caregiver.
In this free course, offered by IU’s School of Public Health Prevention Insights, you will learn:
- How to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone who may be suicidal
- More suicide prevention
- Common causes of suicidal behavior
- Warning signs of suicide
- How to get help for yourself or someone in crisis
