1. Assumption of Risk
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge and understand that my participation in the Color Our World Fun Run involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, exposure to colored powders, potential slip and fall accidents, and other conditions that could result in injury before, during or after the event. I voluntarily assume all risks inherent with and associated with this event as a participant.
2. Waiver and Release
In consideration of my participation in the Color Our World Fun Run, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Lebanon Public Library, its Board of Directors, affiliates, sponsors, volunteers, agents, and, the Civil City of Lebanon, IN, and its Parks Department, from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of my participation, including any injuries, accidents, or damages sustained before, during, or after the event, whether caused by the negligence of the event organizers or otherwise. Including soiled clothing or athletic equipment used by me during the event.
3. Medical Treatment
I understand that I am solely responsible to seek any medical treatment in the event of injury, accident, or illness, arising during the event and for any medical expenses incurred.
4. Photographs and Media Release
I hereby grant permission to the Lebanon Public Library and the City of Lebanon Parks Department to take photographs, videos, or other media of me during the event and use them for promotional purposes, without compensation to me or further consent from me being required.
5. Code of Conduct
I agree to follow the instructions of event organizers, volunteers, and event security. I will not engage in any behavior that disrupts the event or endangers myself or others. I understand that should I cause or contribute to behavior that would cause disruption of the event that I may be removed from the event by event security, the safety and enjoyment of all participants being the priority of the event.
6. Declaration of Fitness
I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the Color Our World Fun Run. I have no known medical conditions that would prevent my participation, and I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare provider before participating if I have any concerns.
7. Age Requirements
Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign this waiver.
